There is every chance that Laverde won't play an AFL game in 2019 IF the team performs well.

It's definitely a possibility and thank Christ we are in this position.

I couldn't fault any decision we've made in the last 10 weeks.

Should return in the next couple of weeks. Lots of them are looking at round 10ish returns apparently?

“Jayden’s progress has been good; he’s moving well, he did some of training today.

“We’re looking to return him to play over the next couple of weeks depending on how he tracks in this end stage of his rehabilitation.

If this is the case then he's right on target in the back end of this season to do what he does every year - have an interrupted pre-season, break down during the season proper and then play 7 or 8 senior games with 1 or 2 flashy type games so he stays on the list a little longer.....

On track and in full training, expected to be available against Fremantle. Though idk if they'll actually take that risk or send him back through the VFL like usual...

Club physical performance manager Justin Crow said versatile 23-year-old Jayden Laverde is on track after overcoming a hamstring strain that has kept him off the field in the last fortnight.

“Jayden’s fully training this week and we expect him to be available, assuming that all goes well, this weekend,” Crow said on the SKINS Injury Update.

Hasnt played seniors all season and is coming off a 2 week hamstring.... i would be stunned if he came straight into the seniors, it would be a disservice to him more than anything.

Ridley played his role up forward last weekend in the VFL, i would promote Ridley to replace Franga forward and let Laverde take his usual role in the VFL side for at least a week.
