A battler who competes well but an easy reason why if we continue on this path will continue to stay on the mediocrity highway

Good VFL player.
Had some decent moments. Good physicality.

Not best 22 but handy to fill in for injury

Doubt Scott will drop Lav as we won, but we look real slow with Lav, Hepp and Kelly. The latter 2 are in better form so it needs to be Lav to go to the 2s to find form/ (more likely) wait for another player to get injured to get back in the seniors

He’s pretty skinny, not sure Fogarty would’ve been the best match up for him.

Parish on his own. Laverde kicks to 3 on 1. Turnover on our HFF. Ball rebounds and goals. The biggest liability in an Essendon side I can remember in the past 5 years.

it defies logic that he can consistently be the worst player in our defense, constantly leaking goals and still get picked

Add to it he gave away a dumb free kick in the last minute when we'd turned the ball over and were about to go i50. Literally felt like he was playing for Collingwood

He was absolutely shocking. How is Hayes looking? I don't want to see Laverde ever again.
