That really dilutes the above stat if so. Quick off the mark is a critical aspect of being a gun Full BackI don't think this is counting marks on the lead which are considered uncontested marks?
I still can’t believe the turn around in his career. He was injury prone and struggled up forward. He would have been very close to being delisted.
Since being switched to defense he has been playing as our number one defender every week.
Our poorly defensive midfield have really made him earn his pay checks.
In a good team he would be getting the second or third best defender.
He will definitely be up there in the best and fairest. Top 5 minimum?
These are reasons why he is leadership material.I think he’s now my outright favourite Essendon footballer, regularly gives inches and kilos away but scraps, claws and stupid brave.
Not only that but he’s somehow also developing a very good to elite intercept game while playing on the most dangerous forward every week.
Ripping success story.
No current season stats available
two years?I don't think he gets enough love.
Been enormous for a long time now.
Think he's gone well past Ambrose skill wise but yes in regards to physicality. Outstanding two yearsPaddy Ambrose mark two
Has no business being so good on much taller opponents
Probably leading our B&F
He'd be an AA squad chance purely for how solid he is in defence.Unsure he gets votes after such an even performance (I did give him 1 vote) but he was immense playing against guys significantly taller than him all day (Daniher, Hipwood, Fort, McCinerney) and more than held his own.
Kudos to a new Mr. Reliable
And our poor pressure out of the middle. He's leading the reverse Coleman, but that's mainly due to him being so undersized.
And our poor pressure out of the middle.
Both correct. Undersized but the freeway we have allowed the opposition to run down at times has not helped his cause. He's leading the reverse Coleman, but that's mainly due to him being so undersized.
daniher dropping the knees into his rib cage didn’t go unnoticed either. He’s indestructible these days in regards injuries. Hipwood banged into and came off second best
He got 5 coaches votes (behind Caldwell 9 and Wright 9) so the recognition is there.Unsure he gets votes after such an even performance (I did give him 1 vote) but he was immense playing against guys significantly taller than him all day (Daniher, Hipwood, Fort, McCinerney) and more than held his own.
