There is every chance that Laverde won't play an AFL game in 2019 IF the team performs well.
Not sure we could ever get 2 Laverdes on the park simultaneously.I'd like to have a forward line of
FF Tippa Daniher Stringer
HF Laverde Stewart Laverde
By the end of this year. With Begley and Smith also rotating through the forward line and Stringer, Laverde and Tippa taking an odd centre bounce.
Not sure we could ever get 2 Laverdes on the park simultaneously.

“We’re looking to return him to play over the next couple of weeks depending on how he tracks in this end stage of his rehabilitation.
Should return in the next couple of weeks. Lots of them are looking at round 10ish returns apparently?

https://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/2019-05-14/dons-set-for-forward-boostClub physical performance manager Justin Crow said versatile 23-year-old Jayden Laverde is on track after overcoming a hamstring strain that has kept him off the field in the last fortnight.
“Jayden’s fully training this week and we expect him to be available, assuming that all goes well, this weekend,” Crow said on the SKINS Injury Update.
Hasnt played seniors all season and is coming off a 2 week hamstring.... i would be stunned if he came straight into the seniors, it would be a disservice to him more than anything. On track and in full training, expected to be available against Fremantle. Though idk if they'll actually take that risk or send him back through the VFL like usual...

Well now you know. Was not aware Freo have a VFL team.
The experts think soA 2 week hamstring? After his history? Surely not
As nice as it is, I don't think he deserved it.
Houlahan chose the worst week to have a bad game IMO. If he'd had a good one I think he may have been a chance.I think with the way things were looking we needed to try something but I agree
