Wait till he gets his running game going. Seriously, its going to be scary what he will be able to do when taking on the game and having Kerr alongside him.

Exactly. Wait till he gets his timing, skills and dynamic ability back. I cant wait for Swift Kerr Masten to tear it up.

If by slug you mean pillage the rest of the best young talent for the next 1-2 years to build a formidable unstoppable killing machine. Then let the premature ejaculations continue i say! :D

How unfortunate for us we couldnt win that extra game last year it would've made us such a better side. ;)

SWIFT >>>>>> 5 wins last year

damn chops, i bet now you'll think twice about commenting on west coast players with dodgy knees.

Yeah man.

Would have been better off saying something like, "He should have done a proper job of it again!!!"

Would have been the same result. :p:thumbsu:

Next time, I'll just laugh instead. :p

Was on Ten News, he came up sore after a contest and looked to be clutching a knee but continued on his merry way without any problems.

Will he play this week or be rested? I think he might get a break.

I heard he was winded. Did not look like he was clutching lower limb to me.

Nah, copped knees or a fist to the ribs, came off, took his jumper off and got some magic spray. Was feeling his ribs the rest of the half though.

Because he was on the ground when it happened it looked like, or everyone feared, it might have been a knee.

Well that's good. Great to see that his injuries aren't bothering him too much and we aren't holding him back too much.

Swift had little game time on Friday but played in the back half. Against the collywobbles he played half back flank and also for Claremont. Seems to be training with the backs. Will this be where he is best suited?

we will trade you watt and rawlings for him :P but seriously you have a top line player here and i cant wait to watch ziebell towel him up :)

No, mainly because we recruited J.Jones, Smith both rebounding backmen who can play up the ground on the wings if we want, on top of having allot of taller players with physical attributes to play in a range of positions from a KPD, Flanks and the Wing like Spangher, McKenzie, Schofield and even Nickoski.

I would say his a genuine midfielder and thats why we recruited him, his got all the tools to do it.

You playing him as a forward atm?

It's a smarter move, play someone who can play midfield in your forward line, and pick another midfielder in the centre since midfielders are the proven earners

Howdy guys,

Will Swift play for the Claremont league side this week.Any idea's how he is going at training?

he should. he played round 1 with the league side and had 17 or 18 disposals. should play again this week unless selected for round 2 afl!
