If Bolt wins the treble in Rio next year, I think he has every claim of being labelled the greatest sportsperson of all time.
They did that at the World Relays the last two years (they've now copied it for the swimming as well). Some of the women's teams in the Bahamas were told to 'tone it down' a bit.
I think it's a great idea. It helps promote the relays, which are the most exciting races of all.
Just a thought I had recently, why don't they add a relay event in athletics and swimming, with a combination of 2 males and 2 females? I think it could be a great event to watch.

Last kilometre in 2.47 thats 64 seconds for each of the last 2 laps. Unbelievable as well as last 3kms in 8.20.
The blokes should take a lesson there on how to beat Mo Farah.
If Ayana decided to just sit back and wait until there was a lap to go she would have lost.

Perfectly timed by Kiprop. Beautiful stuff down the back straight going from 9th to 3rd then getting them on the bend running wide.

Kiprop is an athlete that knows his own ability and knows that ability is better than anyone else's. He just ate his opposition up over that last 250m without a worry in the world. Great to watch.

Lovely presentation by most of the relay girls. Yanks had best posses and have the best team.

Wow I dont believe that relay result. Felix set that up beautifully going from 10m behind to a 5m lead. That last American has a terrible running style.

Felix pulled back a huge lead and gave the US a couple of metres going into the last leg. Huge last 100m.

Her arms fell apart completely in the last 50. Like running downhill. Feel a bit for Felix. Dominated her leg. Such good acceleration at the 200
The high jump has been very competitive and even. Currently in a jump off for gold
I don't mind the way they do the relays now with them being announced individually. If the athletes decide they want to act like a bunch of flogs then so be it.

That is probably the best 4x400m relay with the yanks in it since 1984 LA when top 4 teams were split by 1.5 seconds. Less than a second between the top 4 here. The Yanks usually win by 25m then everyone else close.
Doesnt beat the 2012 Olympics when Bahamas knocked of the yanks and my man Chris Brown finally won a gold medal.
Wallaby can you think of a closer top 4 with the yanks running at an Olympics or world champs??
