Liverpool vs NewPORT County or PAFC (Plymouth Argyle)

Oooo, conflict of interest... Liverpool or Port Adelaide? Hmmm...

Everton at Goodison for us.

6th season in a row that we've drawn PL opposition at the first opportunity. I know I shouldn't complain but it's really annoying!
I think you were meant to say 6th club competition in a row, because I do remember Burton being one of our opponents in the FA cup too.

But yeah, I know right. When we were in the Championship, we wanted a PL club, but got stuck with a boring Championship club. Now we're in the PL, we want an interesting Championship or lower club (Like any of the East Midlands clubs or a unique place) and we get PL opposition. Where the hell was this when we wanted it.

We better put in an effort in the FA Cup, it's the only thing we haven't won yet!

Anyone got the full draw?

Just this one last time, telly man. Now that we're in a relevent part of the competition, I don't have to do any more updates. Everyone will be talking about it, doing their own little thing.

The most blessed side will be Liverpool, who are guaranteed Tier 4 opposition, (although the correct answer is actually Brentford, but don't let that get in the way of a good moan in).

Games will be played on the first week of January (7th-8th), so huzzah.

Man City at home.

WTF, we've drawn Man Utd, Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City in our last 4 Domestic Cup Draws.

There are clubs that would kill for that kind of drawing, it means money for the honey.

Of course, as a PL club, that really sucks.

Our game will have around 5,000. Both sets of fans planning boycotts.
Crikey, a month apart, yet the same information posted both times on the same page!

Guess it needed even more emphasising after that weird sacking. I still find it funny that you guys played a lot better with your backs against the wall.

Haha forgot I'd already posted about it in here, and now I know the actual numbers for ticket sales.

Plus this thread moves slowly. :p

Careful you lot. Beware the team that feels like they have a prove a point against arrogant teams that will run weaker teams against them.

I'm conflicted... I want a good FA Cup run, since really, that's the final frontier on the English front, but at the same time, I want to make sure we survive and push towards top 10 for this season. Maybe next year when we don't have CL commitments... unless...

It's not arrogance. The first team needs a rest and the depth/kids need a go.

Not much appetite for this it seems. Would love to win this trophy. I was 18 years old the last time we did :'(
