It was the clip of Gil saying "Essendon pick...." then it cuts to Archie skulling a beverage and he says something like "loosest campaigner in Portsea". Obviously a video one of his mates took at a party. Was pretty harmless tbh.Video deleted. What did I miss?
they still got to pick someone else who wanted to be there and they didn't get nothing for their pick three

They’d have to catch him firstFooty really has changed.....Imagine Archie playing with us in the 80’s.
Wonder what TD, Merv, Harvs, Roger et al would have made of his straw boater? Merv may have killed him.
Exactly - here’s hoping he’s more Buddy Franklin than Mitch Thorp. Not the typical Essendon vanilla pick of the last 15 years. Which hopefully is a good thing.

The other question is....did the club ask a questions that led to that response? If so, you cant expect the bloke to lie. Don't ask the question if you don't want to know the answerWhat would the AFL prefer, players say nothing and guys like Hately and Caldwell just walk after couple of years?
He said he felt he wasn't ready to move interstate.Robert Shaw like him - good enough for me.

I guess the line is saying you don't want to move interstate as opposed to saying you wont move interstate. The former is perfectly reasonable if you are asked the question, the latter probably starts to veer into tampering.
Yes. He did.He said he felt he wasn't ready to move interstate.
I'm not sure he would have given a flying **** what they thought of himThey’d have to catch him firstWhat they might’ve called a larrikin.
He seems like the type that will knuckle down and earn the respect on the field anyway, even if he isn’t their cup of tea off field.
The only thing I’d say to that is, is if you put your name down for the draft you’re accepting that you will be available to play for any of the 18 clubs.People complaining about his wanting to stay in Victoria sound like they have never been to a job interview.
What was the video?

If a job ad said good chance you would be working interstate then you wouldn’t apply if you didn’t want to go
