Perhaps the addition of some defensive pressure on the opposition up the ground. It's bloody hard being a defender when opponents are running at you under no pressure.

16 scores from 30 entries can't be all the midfield fault. The midfield is doing its job in limiting opportunities. The defense is crumbling under minimal entries. Not good enough.
This topic thread is pointless when we were playing an attacking style of footy and ending up with the win. We made a lot of skill errors earlier on, and the opposition rebounded with their forward entries under little pressure.

Overall a reasonable game by Kyle, but who can forget that double fister at the ball instead of taking the mark? When he was all on his own FFS Kyle!!

They hurt us on the rebound.
I thought Cheney was good, he seems to play the team game really well. Surrounded by Laird, Brown, Talia and Doedee I think he's fine to leave in the team.
He and Hartigan are the two that I never know what's going to happen with however. Can be the greatest defenders, or biggest spuds from one contest to the next.
