Stats dont tell the whole story

Led hard, worked harder. Kicked 3 but not completely impressed with the spots that he got them in.

Out wide, on the flanks, outside 50as a full forward.

When he does get his hands on the ball, you can see the quality though. A poor mans Joe Daniher really.

Take his run and jump at the ball away and he begins to struggle.

Has the work rate to overcome this but may struggle with Joey in front at the moment

Darcy wouldnt play in front of Joey Daniher

But do you think that James Stewart in Moore's body is considered anything less than the future of Collingwood's forward line?

I'm not saying that the assessment of Moore, is correct, though I think it probably is, it's the perception of the two that interests me.

Collingwoods desperation is the only thing that sees Darcy gets games it seems.

Wont disagree that Stewart and Darcy play similar game styles.

From everything I've seen they are the same player and I go with the flow in thinking that Stewart is a poor mans' Moore.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hooker gets a rest against Melbourne and Stewart comes in.

He plays high up the ground and can lead back very similar to Joe but you have to reward good form.

Tricky part will be bringing Hooker back in. Wouldn't like to go to tall.

I don't think we are in the position to start resting people as structurally important as Hooker.

Besides, he just had a 12 month rest.

I'm not suggesting we should.

I wouldn't be surprised that they manage the workloads of the returning players as they do with other players throughout the year.

Hooker is clearly our best option alongside Joe but other than him resting I'm not sure how James gets a game.

He's playing well so will need to be rewarded at some stage.

If he keeps up the reasonable form I expect to see him in the 1s at some point this season. The real test will be whether or not he takes his chances at AFL level or not.

He's a very promising 23 y.o and TBC was a good AFL forward for half a season 4 or so years ago. Odd thing to say sir.

Don't think so. In my opinion TBC is and will be the better option up forward plus TBC can ruck of course. So to me the only way Stewart ever plays is if one of the rucks is out (which one of course has been) or Joe D is ever out. Again just my opinion

TBC is a very good contested mark but I think he would struggle to much once the ball hits the deck.

Woosha has mentioned a number of times that he wants his forwards to lock the ball in forward 50 to create multiple chances. Something TBC would struggle with.
