We have two 24year old key forwards that will hopefully play the next 8-10 years together. Most teams would love to be in that situation, Jenkins is 29.

Still can’t believe the Pies didn’t get him.

should always take a f/s pick imo if they don’t work out u can delist them later.
Murmurs that the Pies were after him the same time as us. An FU later to Collingwood and he is firmly entrenched in our 22

Must admit, the prescence he carries, even as skinny (looking) as he is, does not bother him one iota. Despite playing on the 1st/2nd defender he is still managing to make a meaningful impact for us.

Another goal to him yesterday, 14 for the year, and another piece of the forward puzzle to our future success.

Well done James

So far this year he would have to be one of the only existing players (i.e not brought in last trade/draft) that has shown improvement from the previous year. Seems much better in the air, especially on the lead. Also starting to use his big frame as he should be.

He's become the player we dreamed that he would become when we traded him in for pick 77 or whatever it was.

It's funny what confidence does. Now he's throwing his weight around at ground level and will probably pull down a screamer too.

He's living proof that a player can be a 198cm key forward and can genuinely play small (or as a flanker). His work rate is enormous.

Needs to lift with SMack playing well, will get dropped when Daniher returns
Only 12 key forwards have kicked more goals than him this year. Of any team. Only 5 have more goal assists. Only 12 more score involvements (the same 12 that have more goals). Has only been held goalless once this season. Not to mention he's our leading goal kicker.

While I have no problem with him doing the stutter step on his set shots, he's been leaving it too late and ending up way too close to the man on the mark. Tonight's kicking into the man on the mark was just a matter of time.
