I wasn't aware of this on the weekend but it appears both Scott and Grima have called LT out for diving/staging.

Whether he does or not is another question, but I'm not impressed with him being singled out considering all the other issues we have both at team and personnel level.

Especially as plenty of other players stage for frees, starting with the great Gary Jnr through to Selwood etc.

I would rather the club deal with LT internally if they believe it an issue rather than via the media. Simply avoid all questions on the topic rather than do what I think was inappropriate.

Selwood is lauded for his 'technique', Thomas is lambasted for his.

The funny thing is, Kelly had his hands in Thomas' back so Thomas 'simulating' a dive is irrelevant because Kelly broke the rules before that anyway.

Not sure how LT is singled out in a game in which Selwood and Bartel are doing their best Greg Louganis impersonations.

and if L T is so wrong, what about the ump that gave him the free anyway ? IF the ump thought it was staged( and it may have been ) should the free have been given ? That doesn't read well but I know what I mean And very glad for L T that the other cartwheel thing turned out ok for him Could have been disastrous

The guy is a massive diver/stager, but he's hardly alone there in the comp, so not sure why he is being singled out as he is to be honest. Yes, there was one shocker, but there were hands in the back anyway.

Difference is one was character assassinated by the media and Shuey (the irony) and the other is a captain of a club where he's won 75% of his games, its easy to see the reason's why. I personally hate motlop for his ducking and the umpire's falling for it, because he has silky skills. He'll get arthritis in his knees by age 30 at the rate he's going.

these are the kind of problems you need to deal with if you're winning.

a lot bigger problems to deal with rather than LT's simulation, and confronting him about it internally or externally will only put him offside.

LT hit a contest he had no right to get to which resulted in him going head first into the turf. Perhaps if some of his team mates hit contests as hard as he did we'd be higher than 6th.

Sure he excentuated the momentum but the free was there. They paid one for less going the other way.

Stevie J on the other hand could have been reported for staging.

Guthrie is still recovering from his near death experience after being pushed in the chest 'too hard'.
