Great player on his day but in the interests of keeping the list competitive and free up salary cap space, he is one of the SENIOR players who need to move on at year's end along with, McMahon and Spud and dare i say it Wells. All are great stalwarts of the club but we need to get ruthless.

With Wells it's not about getting ruthless. I mean, it's not like we are about to trade him. We just have to see if he can get back, and play the year out well and pain free, whether he feels up for another preseason. What was concerning last year, was despite his relatively good comeback from that foot injury, he still couldn't start the preseason with the main group due to foot soreness, weeks after the season has finished. If that's the case again, then that's it.

Narni was on ABC's the Huddle on Sunday. Pure gold as usual!
Some of the highlights were:

Opening line: "Sorry I'm a bit dusty, had a few last night"
Alex Rance and I are the best looking players in the game
Jeremy Mcgovern has skinfolds around 100, he's doing it his own way and I love it.
I wish I was Buddy. Still called Nathan Grima but everything else Buddy.
Buddy wouldn't even know who I am.
I pay a troll to get back at any twitter trolls for me.
If you are trolling players, Jesus Christ get a life.
Used to commentate the game while playing to keep him from drifting off in games.
Still sore and getting around like an old man.

Also all but confirmed he will retire, using phrases like: "when I finish up at the end of the year" and "hard to believe I won't play again"

**** it. Put him on the rookie list next year and gift him those games as a sub

His back is ****ed, going on another year isn't worth it tbh. Love Narni but he has to retire. He would have to survive the pre-season.

Hopefully this can be a lesson to a few of the younger boys.

Pull your finger out and give it everything you've got before it's all over.

Ripper bloke that Narnie, I'll look forward to his media career.

I was in Narni's hometown on Sunday. It gives me the creeps every time I'm there. It feels like stepping into the early 1900s.

If Spud and Loose retire alongside Narni, Arden St will become a dull place. The 3 funniest guys at the club leaving at the same time? Irreplaceable.

Brother(s) hopefully. Really miss Todd this year

Wouldn't surprise to see Big H there either...
Ofcourse Brothers!!! H is almost certain to be there. Pascoe vale v Strathmore will become an intra club game the way it's going lol

Unfortunately Narni won't make it back , I asked his father on Saturday how he was going (@ Evandale ) . His response is he won't play again . The back surgery was not a success . And he has had setbacks following the surgery . It's a shame , as his aim was to hopefully play 100 games for the club. He loves the place and was desperate to get to 100 games .
