One by one, all the whipping boys on here are getting injured.

First McVeigh, now Sinclair!
Watch your back Deano!
No, match committee are just finally reading BF, and have realised we know best.

I can just imagine the talk this week:
Harley: Cal... Cal, can i have a word mate?
Cal: Yep, what's up.
Harley: Was readign BF, and well... Miggs says you're a bit shit, so sorry mate but you just got a 2-4 week knee problem.
Cal: awwww...
Harley: Don't worry mate you can hang out with McVeigh and his "groin" (general spudness), McGlynn and his "hammy" (old and finished) and Ted with his "concussion issues" (we played him as a freaking decoy forward FFS).
Cal: (head down) ok....
Harley: Now, have you seen Harry Cunningham? I haven't seen him today, but i think his shin is playing up...

I reckon the board as a whole has been too harsh on him 2bh.

While he's been poor he hasn't been disastrously horrible. He's giving us as much as Pyke or Jetta did last year (probably more) IMO.

At the least I don't think his lack of good form isn't through a lack of effort. Any other player playing through an injury while still obviously trying would usually get our sympathy. Comparing what he was providing at WCE compared to this year I wouldn't be surprised if he's been playing sore the last month or so to help cover once Tip went down.

He's also had to acclimatize to new teammates, new structures, much more running (IMO) and carrying a heap more of the ruck-load than first expected with Tip going down.

I'm certainly not saying he's been great, he's been below expectations and needs to lift if he want's to hold a spot when Tippo returns. However, the flogging he's getting on the board is really OTT I reckon. I have faith he'll be worth it and find a role in the team. Be it this year or next.

My understanding is that he's been playing injured for a while but that's unconfirmed.
