Sort of edging into Drex the TRex territory, with those big mitts looking more like butter and his tank pretty ******* poor. A ruckman that can't jump off the ground or mark the ball.

If Nankervis is showing him how its done and outrucking him when they play together, then he's got to give the team something around the ground or in the forward line, since its the reason the club picked him up - his athleticism.

Who knows, maybe there's an underlying medical reason for why he's so unfit, or at least no where near AFL standard fitness.

Even big lumbering Naismith has been showing him how its done, given that he's got at least 10cm and 10kg on him.

Your are aware that he is out for the next month for an on going knee injury??? Also Nankervis didn't outperform him when they have played in the same side for all of two matches.

Except that nankervis out ranked him in both games they played together

I don't look at rankings I look at the stat lines. Over the two games they were equal in all stats except tackles. Sinclair was the best of the two in the first game and Nankervis was the best for the two in the second game.

Game 1: Sinclair 11 Disposals, 1 mark, 4 tackles, 14 hitouts vs Nankervis 7 Disposals, 2 marks, 8 tackles, 1 goal, 9 hitouts
Game 2: Sinclair 7 Disposals, 1 mark, 3 tackles 1 goal, 19 hitouts vs Nankervis 10 Disposals, 0 marks, 6 tackles 11 hitouts

What the stats show is that both players are constantly in our bottom 5 players. I'm not suggesting Sinclair should be in the side other than if he is back fit and Tippett doesn't return.

would take 1 goal and 4 more tackles over Sinclair's easily, and probably the opposite again for game 2 tbh looking at those. Was the second game Melbourne in the wet? If so i would prefer Nankervis' games in both

Not sure why this is even a discussion. Neither Sinclair or nankervis appear to be afl standard.

Nankervis has a presence about him too. Sinclair has the presence of tissue paper

I must admit I laugh at a lot of the Sinclair quips but give the guy a break, he was never expected to be a superstar ruck and we were pretty much forced into getting him considering Jetta wanted to go home. Hope he doesn't read this site or the guy might have a mental breakdown.

Stats are almost meaningless in modern footy. Its like saying Swansrule100 is one of the best posters ever coz of his post count. Easily take nanks games over sinclairs in your above sample size. Got any more pro sinclair stuff? Coz im guessing there isnt a great deal if that was what you came up with

Jetta at Sydney: 24 games in 2014, 25 games in 2015, clear best 22, 28 goals and averaged 18 disposals
Jetta at West Coast: 10 games, terrible, repeatedly dropped, mediocre in the WAFL

Sinclair at West Coast: 20 games in 2015, 2nd choice (and occasionally 1st ruck) all year after round 4, averaged 18 hitouts and 12 disposals
Sinclair at Sydney: 16 games, averaged 13 hitouts and 10 disposals, went even further backwards after Tippett was injured and he got opportunity as 1st ruck

Were both more valuable to their previous clubs?

Can't believe the excuses that are made for this bloke on this forum

Besides last week he has been fit enough to be selected

His efforts at times are soft as you get for someone that is 100kg

Mumford will hurt this guy if we play in first final

That's real tough mate.
He's one of ours. He played out the game last week on a knee that needed surgery.
One thing I'll never do is write of a fellow human being.

He is an eagle who ended up here
He hasnt been injured all year has he?

He just is not good enough no shame in that
Not wishing him dead
Think he needs a different team to have a chance to flourish

To be honest, there really isn't much more to be discussed about Sinclair. If he doesn't play again this year, we're doing well, since it means our other rucks are doing a better job.

But yeah, the thought of him lining up against Mummy in a final is a sight I'd rather not see.

I dont think he was brought in to be depth. He was starting 22 from the day we signed him. Im starting to think even leunberger would have been better and hes a grade A spud

Its like you don't like a difference of opinion and that we all should be sinking the boots into a player because you have an issue with them? I'm not pro Sinclair like you want to suggest (saying he is in our Bottom 5 players and should only play if fit and if Tippett isn't available is hardly that). I have been open with stating that Sinclair has been poor and that before this week he should make way for Tippett so Naismith can keep his spot.

But you believe what you want.

Leuys body is the issue

Sinclair just always felt like ohh we have to trade Jetta and we need a ruck he will do

But pre season if we had not of gotten a ruckman people would of been concerned to be fair.

But id trade him to anyone who will take him if we can

that's a large (alleged) contract for a depth ruck
