He is in serious strife. Looks like a bone infection.
Yeah, definitely didn’t look like he was playing footy anytime soon yesterday.
 
He's been back in hospital twice since the initial surgery that we know of, so it probably wasn't responding to antibiotics as well as they'd have liked. So yes, hell of an infection.

Doesn't mean it's not sensationalist commercial media though.
I am in hospital now hip replacement.numrber5.this is because of infection.
Not all infections are staph.during surgery they took swabs and try to grow cultures to determine which antibiotic will be most suitable to rid infection.
In my case there are 3 different typesof infections . The infections love metal in the body and they get in under screws etc that are in the prosthesis.i have had to have all the metal removed and "a spacer ' put in as a replacement for my hip.this plastic spacer will stay in place for 6weeks or so
Once infection is cleared.i wll have hip replacement 6 and metal prosthesis re inserted.

With the spacer i have limited movement and a load of pain.i hope michael is not heading down my path as he too young to have this happen

Just the infection has screwed me.evrything was fine with the surgeries best i had been ,no pain no limping.infection stuck up its hand so i am back to square 1.
Anyway just the hand i have been dealt.
