There are currently 3 players on our list, that seem to be able to see the game unfolding well before it does.
Cripps
Fisher
Walsh

All 3 have that undefinable quality that allows them to see how the game will progress, and then when they get the ball, hand it on to another player , then run to the perfect position to either receive the ball or help out their teammate. Such players are gold, because they bring other players into the game as well as having super impact themselves. Sam Mitchell and Diesal were others.
We are so lucky to have 3 in our collection. you could possibly add Docherty and SPS to that list as well.

Emu had unique vision too. Reckon he was watching last weeks game though, made it confusing for everyone else

Add McGovern. He sees it unfold and what needs to happen and moves the ball on so fast. Once they get used to that look out.
No doubt Simpson has that quality.
Weiters is starting to read the play so early. Doull like at certain moments on Thursday night.

His composure and vision is elite, not a concern at all

I understand people protecting their own, but I always call it as I see it, no matter what colours they wear
Yes. Played under a huge amount of physical pressure from the Tigers and their bigger bodied. Something he's not used to. But acclimatised accordingly and will no doubt be for the benefit of his experience.

Literally not worried the tinsiest bit about his kicking.

We know he has a great footy brain/IQ, awareness and skill overall combined with brilliant work ethic.

So does one Patrick Cripps, and for a while some would have had you believe that lad doesn't even know what a kick is. Now while he undoubtedly still prefers to handball, when he has to kick more than often than not he's even getting the ball laceout to a teammate over distance. Will never be an elite kick perhaps, but his will and drive to improve has seen him improve leaps and bounds.

Walsh can be the same.

I wouldn't expect Walsh to take out the RS nom this week, but who knows.
Not sure though who should take it out. Butters? Scott? Constable maybe?

Nevertheless it was quite a good game by Walsh and somewhat better than the 'best mid in the draft' :)
