I'm very happy with him and think he will be a solid contributor for many years to come. No nonsense type player. Great work ethic.
Come on AG. You can do better than that. You better otherwise the Tin Man will hunt you down.

Like what I've seen so far, has more time than he realizes yet. Also has a good physique to build on, not Cripps like, but he won't be pushed around. Hope he doesn't go off the rails down the track, this kind of hyper level professionalism at 18 is something worth thinking about.. but I think that's where Bolts comes in.

Kid is every bit as good as I expected when first looked into him last July. Probably better actually. His running capacity is Craig Bradley like. Braddles was probably this good as a teenager too. Freaks!!!!
Apparently Walsh only made the 2nd XI for Vic cricket team.

Sakc!

Walsh has shown some glimpses in his first three games. Hoping he gets an AFL level tank after another preseason under Russell.

Has some work to do on disposal in traffic if he wants to play more inside. Lacks size at this stage.

Probably just enough to work with to make him a solid contributor next season.

Next step is him getting an Olympic marathon runner tank. Should help him run out games better.

Well l used to be scared of metal crusher because of his name and his previous avatar (picture of himself - lol). I have a different perception of him now with his new nickname (tin man) and avatar of Curnow brothers. Plus he is way way out west...

Often wondered with players like our Walsh..is it a tank thing that keeps in in the play continuously compared to other players or does he just love playing, is really competitive and just wants to be involved in everything (compared to other players)
he'd eat a footy...........I'm tipping he has balance in his life though - unlike most of us sad tragics..............

Just has a brilliant footy brain. Can read the play. Knows where to run.

Also he is just a pure competitor with a champion mindset.

His tank just allows him to get into the positions he wants to.

Watching him play is kinda surreal, in the sense that watching all of our other high draft picks play over the years you're really just looking for any small signs, glimpses really in their first couple of years.

3 games in and it's pretty arguable that's he's shown things you'd be seeing (and expecting) if we'd gotten a Shiel type player etc. It's kinda incredible really.

Enjoy the ride lads, if he (knock on wood) stays fit, think there's going to be a hell of a lot of articles about this absolute gem by years end.
