Murphy was monstered playing as an inside mid so much.

Durdin is also a smaller player, but should avoid the wear and tear playing as a full time mid did to Murphy.

Impacting in 2025. Currently equal 3rd on our goal kicking at Round 7, after Curnow (tall), Williams (medium) and Kemp. So with our smalls he is the one near goal and kicking them.

First 2 years showed some very encouraging signs, looked like an exciting small forward type…
Last few years with injuries and form he just hasn’t showed anywhere near that level of early promise…
Shame, but wish him all the best and hopefully he can kick back on with the rest of his career

Thanks for the memories Cicc! Loved the way he went about it. Always gave his all and his bond with his sister is something special. It's a shame injuries got in the way but that's footy.

Side note, Port getting Durds for a swap of second round picks is a steal!
