I'm really sad with Durds' departure. I never hid that he's always been one of my favourites through all of his highs and lows. That 2022 season after a year under Eddie was sensational....I was so excited with our young gun small forward.

It's also just another piece of the puzzle that's fallen away. The end of 2022, we just missed finals, but all the pieces were coming together. And the start of 2023 with the forward half consisting of our two big guns Curnow and Harry, our two exciting half forwards in Martin and Cunners, and our gun small forward in Durds along with a young up and comer in Motlop.

Fast forward to 2026, and they're all gone or about to walk out the door, with the exception of Harry who's struggled with issues, and Motlop not coming on like we hoped. And in between times Elijah coming and going.

It's a bit of a hollow feeling right now, but I'll be following the little fella on his journey and hope he recaptures that exciting form with his new club.

bit of a what might have been... we had a few glimpses of his best, every chance he puts it together consistently at port. always hoped he'd be a regular. good luck at port.

Out of the 3 guys who have left the club this year via trades or FA, Durds is one I would welcome back with open arms in the future. He's a genuine footballer who plays with heart and passion.

Never change Port. They were calling Hinkley a pedo five minutes after he was appointed.

Always seemed like one of the best people at the club and showed us glimpses of his talent but bad luck meant he couldn't deliver it consistently.

Good luck durds, I think he's one blues fans will cheer for even after leaving the club

Unfortunately we never saw the best of Corey, only glimpses.

I hope he gets some more midfield time at Port and can show strengths. I seriously think he is what our midfield needed, pace, acceleration and spread. Unfortunately injuries and a lack of faith hindered this.

I can see Corey playing a role like boomer Harvey did. All the best matey!
