Busted his arse in pre season they have strengthened his glutes and back he looks great
Shouldn't strengthening his glutes actually prevent this from happening :tearsofjoy::sweatsmile:

I’m also fascinated by his ability to control the drop zone and the ball when out in front of his opponent on a lead.

It’s like he times his leap out towards the ball from the front position just a split moment ahead of when the average AFL player would and so gives the impression of ‘hanging’ out in front. I reckon this makes it almost impossible to spoil him from behind when he times it right. But then he also has this uncanny ability to tap the ball out in front of him if required and catch it on the second attempt to complete the mark, which again makes it almost impossible to spoil him from behind.

Such a cool player to watch.

His work to setup what was eventually Chol's side step goal was amazing. First to the space to get the loose ball, quick ground ball pickup and massive rocket handball to CMac who stuffed the kick.

IT would have been assist of the year if MacDonald kicked it.

This clip cuts off the gather but the handball was brilliant.

How good was the blind turn by Maboir as well to totally burn the Eagles defender?

Developing quite a one two punch are Gunners and the "Chols Royce".

Very slippery customers the pair of them.

Great work Jack. I can't quite remember.
Was it a noticeable drop in excess muscle early this year or did he start this program in 2024.
He's simply back to dynamic best PLUS he's an onfield coach up fwd. 👍👍👍

Having a Hodge like (post 2012) career extension after looking gone for all money when his body hit the wall.

Whoever has helped him change his shape and get his movement and agility back, needs a pay rise.

The stakes for him might be as high as they were for Hodge too.

If we get players back, and hit our groove we're going to give the flag a shake for the next few years.

Sometimes it takes an extra season on the rookie list to get it right 😄

In all seriousness, he is moving really well and could easily play on next season. Whilst we don’t want him being the answer for next season, no harm in having him mentor and providing back up as a rookie

Now if only Punky could find the same elixir
