This is more or less what I want clarity on, if it isn’t in Tassie can he play? Is there anything stopping him from flying to Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide?

A condition of entry into Tasmania stipulates that any member of the travelling party must not have visited a Tier 1 or Tier 2 exposure site in the 14-day period prior to arrival. Due to this rule, Nick will be unable to take his place in the side to play the Bulldogs on Sunday.

A lot of them seem to treat the entire state as high risk, so then it’s quarantine or fly in/fly out and the whole shebang regardless of where you’ve been.

Surely this means that since it'll be 14 days on the 3rd, his previous restriction will not apply - particularly if he does numerous tests since.

So if we earn a semi and it's scheduled on a Sunday, he could travel on the 4th (Sat).

Test within 24 hours of arrival, then on day 5 and 13.

That means 14 day quarantine.
