He's got the same build as hipwood, he's a good shot on goal. I'd give him a go for a game or two.
Yeah except Hipwoods had 6 years at the level under his belt.

Yeah that's right because he was given a go as a youngster too, do you understand what i'm getting at?
He got games because the lions were a pathetic team at the time. And 6 years also means 6 pre seasons to build his strength.
We don't need to rush Samson, there are better options ahead of him.

I think we can cover Tom he hasn’t exactly been lighting it up this year get well soon big fella. Great chance for CCJ and cholly to combine . Does anyone know when this happened
Who ? There is three tall options to play forward or ruck/fwd.
Chol who out of the three has mainly played ruck this year. he has not cut it at AFL level in the past and looked neither accomplished enough at afl level as a forward or a ruck. He is 24 is 200cm 94kg and has 21 games to his name maybe he is now ready to take the game on.
CCJ has missed a bit of footy but he looks promising and is taking marks and kicking goals in the two,s. Not as athletic as the other two imo but has good size already at 200cm 105kg with no Lynch he looks like a likely replacement to play as an actual KPF.
Ryan is a 20 yr old 206cm 98kg ruck/fwd. He played against men last year and so far this yr looks really agile is taking marks and kicking goals.If we picked him this week in place of CCJ it really would not be a huge surprise.
Personally id like to see two of the three picked one to play permanent fwd and the other to play as second ruck/forward which was exactly what fans were calling for before TL knee.
Brisbane did not play Hipwood because they were s**t they played him because he showed a lot of potential. Like us they had to start em at some stage.
He was skinny but he did pretty well . 10 games yr 1 for 11 goals 20 games year 2 for 30 goals and that in a s**t team as you put it with just 1 preseason.
Atm we are down to one tall fwd what i dont get is why so many tiger supporters are so averse to giving young tall blokes a game.
All of our talls JR, Rance, Balta, Astbury Grimes all got early games Even Lynch played a lot of games as a rangy skinny kpf at gcs most in what you would call a s**t team.
we became a good team because we got games into them as a collective and they developed. Yep its called development and its development out of neccesity for us atm.
The last time i looked we are in real need of playing some tall fellas capable of playing tall fwd and as a second ruck atm.
If Ryan is the best fit of the three atm then i hope they damn well play him.
If we cannot get games into blokes we have drafted for roles under the current circumstances then we will never want to get games into them. Especially when they are going well in the reserves.
