As this is post 1977... I would like to take this opportunity to thank those players that
created history back in 1977...

Especially Stan Alves... one of the oldest football memories I have is of Stan jumping from the podium... and the crowd going crazy... oh what a day...

1977...the year that punk broke, the year that Star Wars came out, but more importantly, the year that we played FIVE finals games to win flag number 2.

Oh, and I'm sure that one of the Shaw clan had a good sook after the Grand Final replay and the thought of that MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
