I watched it a few weeks ago. Spine tingling stuff.
I also like 'Road to victory'

I was about 7 years old at the time of the 1990 flag and I remember I lost one of my front teeth, and I went to school pretending I was Daicos with his famous missing front teeth. I was also sporting a mullet hairstyle.

when dougie kicked that goal in the last quarter,i knew it was ours, really the game was already won,but with our record of losing from anywhere back then, you couldn't be sure,a great day. Also Ronnie Mck very unlucky not to play, still remember the shattered look on his face after the win, really wish he could have got a deserving premiership medal.

Interesting factoid about the 1990 premiership:

I watched it on TV as I couldn't get tickets; drank Rusty Nails like a fish... yadda yadda yadda... woke up somewhere without any idea about how I got there.

EDIT: People keep mentioning the 1990 heroes (Millane, Daicos, Rowdy etc)... We wouldn't have made it to the GF unless we'd recruited a couple of South Australians: Tony Francis & Scott Russell. They were our midfield engine and made all the difference IMO.

like CFC2010 I was 16 yo and , having followed the Pies through the late 70's/early 80's the Colliwobbles were a very real thing..........we were experts at finding a way to lose when it counted. So the 1990 GF is a vivid memory for me. I can't remember what I was doing this time last week but the 1990 GF is one of only a few moments in my life where I remember a day that far back in some detail. We couldn't get tickets and my dad wasn't big into footy anyway (not sure how I became so passionate of my own accord) - we had travelled to my grandmother's place to watch it . One thing I recall is that my whole body was shivering with anxious anticipation at the opening bounce.

If I had to split them then I'd say the 1990 GF shades the 2010 GF because of that Colliwobbles era , the 32 years and it being my first premiership. Also the players are that bit extra special to me (Daics, Rowdy etc...)

I look forward to watching the doco when I get a chance.
