Did anyone just watch Shane Ellen on Open Mike?

• Talked about his time at Adelaide, including the 1997 Grand Final.
• Blighty told him on the monday leading up to the game that Ellen would be playing at full forward.
• Was late to the pre-game meeting on the Friday night and was given a spray by Reid, lol.
• One of 16 Crows players to win back to back flags.

Worth a watch, Ellen spoke very well.

How good was that GF? I remember that GF with hugely fond memories!!!

I recall waking up on mates couch covered in whipped cream, cracker of a hangover and was told to immediately drive home as I stunk so bad. Would have likely still been drunk as I drove home (don't condone that, was young and stupid). Slept for a further day or so. Good times.

Bill and Bob made the moves to get Blight and Blight had the experience and confidence to chop our old players as he arrived - not give them a whole season to show him what they could do.

This gave "ownership" to the young guys who could step out of the shadow of the alpha males, ahhhhh, good coaching it has been a long long time between drinks for us.
