It was a fairly even season though - IMHO StKilda were the best team in the AFL that year, but only by a goal or two. Of course they soon plummeted back down the ladder and North and Essendon took that mantle for a bit.Supports my assertion that St Kilda truly are cursed. After learning this I'm actually semi serious..
Faked. I think it was the voice of Tom Morris, another Fox Footy guy. It's inspired a week of listening to Silverchair but apart from that it was a bit naff... Otherwise it was an excellent documentary! (Frogstomp still holds up as an albumSorry if this has been asked already in the thread but the Radio snippets that they used to "mark time" throughout the doco where the announcer would reference Silverchair, The Spice Girls etc before talking about an upcoming big game for the Crows, were they real or manufactured for the doco? Bit lame if they were made up as a way to indicate the pop culture of the time. Other than that really liked the doco, those radio bits just seemed fake and annoyed me throughout.

No Jarman in that prelim and we lose. No Rehn and we don't get near the flag. Hodge/Dew 2008, Chapman 2009, Goddard 2010, Hawkins 2011, Hannebery 2012, Boyd 2016. Yeah it's a team sport, but it only takes one individual to play out of their skin to change history. I think the Crouches will do the dirty work, but if its a close game, we need a Lynch, Douglas or Betts type with x factor to pull a huge game. Pyke could send a wildcard forward, he's been playing over half the team in different positions.
