Yeah Melbourne Sports Books are right next to the McDonalds down the end of Elizabeth Street (the Hosies end for the male people here).

Phew, I went looking for that store in my lunch break last week & there was some pervy body piercing place where I thought it used to be.

I have seen this particular publication on the cheap at a couple of Angus & Robertson / Bookworld stores around the metropoloitan area as well as Book City in the city. I hope I have been of some assistance.
I would do the same Malibu, but my lunch break is at 4 am

The new location for Melbourne Sports Books is at 80 Flinders Street. I set out today to go check it out in my lunch break but I got tired of walking before I even got to Queen Street! Might check it out another time because I still want to get copies of the 96 & 99 Grand Final Footy Records.
Thanks Doc, I wouldn't mind checking out your book at the ressies on Saturday if you remember to bring it.

Let me know how you go. If you can't get a copy of the 96 Grand Final record, I think I might have an extra copy around somewhere. I gotta try and find it though. I also have spares of the 96 and 99 Weg posters if you're after them too.

I set out again today & this time made it to Swanston Street before I got distracted.
I've lost my 96 GF record. Along with most of my 96 newsclippings & footy records. I think I was walking around in a daze for about a month after the GF anyway so it doesn't surprise me.
I know where my 98 GF record is.
In 99 I decided to break all traditions from the previous year to shake all the hoodoo. That included not buying a record. It worked for me!

I've got a pal that works at Officeworks, so I'll have a chat to him and if we can get it organised (not sure if he can as he's only just started working there), I'll see if I can get photocopies of all the '96 newspaper and magazine clippings if you want them.
