1st game in 2003 Competition

This is a slightly modified take-off of Porthos's debut game on the Port Adelaide Board. The competition is still the same - for those players not named in our best 22 in the thread run by Kane McG before Christmas, the idea is to name the round in which you think these players will play their 1st AFL game for the season. You might even think it is the 1st round. If you get the round exactly right you get a bonus 2 points.

My one modification to Porthos's game is that you get a further 1 point for each player that plays at least 1 AFL game irrespective of whether you get the round they play their 1st game for the season right or not. BUT if you do nominate a round that they will play their 1st game in and they don't play any for the season then you lose 1 point.

The person with the most points at year's end wins!

Final tips will be due on the Sunday after the Wizard Cup final. Until then you can edit your own selections.

Hard, isn't it, because most of these players will rely on injury to the starting 22 to get a game. Even then some of them will be vying for the same spot.

At this stage I have Massie as a WNP because of his CFS, but I have until the end of the Wizard cup to edit and change that if they look like getting on top of it. Hope I have to do some editing for that reason!!

Meant to edit my votes before the start of the season, but it hasn't turned out too bad. Mind you look a bit stupid not picking Perrie at all after his wizzer form. Don't like my chances of picking Crowell this week!

He's got the first game exactly right for 4 players.

Topjars is the only other multiple success with 2.

Porthos, Jerome and young Stiffster are the only other judges that have 1 right.
