Watson is a lock in the side imo. His bowling is just so useful. Hasn't had a breakthrough yet but just so tidy and has proven he is capable of tying up an end and taking a crucial wicket every now and then.

In terms of batting he is an ODI batsman, but with the overall product he brings to the side he is still a very useful test cricketer.

Watson has bowled so well in this second innings.

Just bowled his 8th maiden out of 9. That shows two things: Watson has bowled exceptionally well and the English batsman are making nowhere near enough effort to rotate the strike. Unacceptable really.

You always felt he was a chance for the LBW with that stump to stump line as well.
