If he is any good they will throw buckets of money at him. Would get better compensation if he's under contract. Obviously a heap can play out between now and then so its just a thought.

Doesn't matter, he can still come back for the 3 premiership reunions after he leaves

I get what you're saying but 2 yr extensions for rookies is pretty normal these days so it's just a coincidence more than anything that he's OOC then.
