He had a couple of dodgy disposals that resulted in turnovers, but that’s bound to happen when you’re trying to take risks. I doubt there was a player on the ground (including Heeney, Blakey, Andrews and Dunkley) who didn’t make errors of skill or judgement.Could be the fact that Chad was damaging for us at times, but also the most damaging for the Lions at times with some of his disposal/decisions.
Not sure how Gulden got a vote for the same reason.
It’s kinda weird all round. Based on that vision, Blakely could be in trouble for seeming to lash out towards Smith with his leg - not the initial leg entanglement but the final action. It’s not clear how much contact, if any, he made.I mean the still photo makes it look horrendous but there was also absolutely no need for his hand to be anywhere near there.

Don't we know that on hereCunningham, H.
The fact Harry didn’t get votes says a bit about the declining status of Charlie Cameron.
Actually … scratch that …. nobody ever notices small defenders.
Doesn't matter he took 11 marks , without him we win easierHarris Andrews didn’t exactly have the toughest outing, up against McLean and Buller.
4 votes seems a bit over the top.
But we won anyway.Doesn't matter he took 11 marks , without him we win easier
All too well. Not a single brownlow vote for N. Smith was criminal.Don't we know that on here
Fagan never really sooks , but he was patheticBut we won anyway.
Without any of McCartin, Melican, Cunningham et al, we probably wouldn’t have won. Given Fagan droned on post-match about how many I50s his team had, you’d think he might appreciate our defence did OK. Or was it just due to the Lions’ inaccuracy (which he also droned on about, ignoring the fact we missed as many as they did).
Well let's be honest. If Toby Greene was deemed to not have made contact to Rampe, there's not a hope i hell they could say Blakey made contact to Smith. It’s kinda weird all round. Why did Smith then bend down and put his hand in that region. Doesn’t look in the least bit “accidental”.
Didn’t Henry Smith give 2 to Blakey ?Coaches votes

General D.Rampemeister (Ramps) is the natural leader of our gallant defenders as they protect the realm of the Swans. His organisation impact is notable. Several players have name-checked Ramps as a huge influence on their development. He reads the play well.Agree on Rampe, was important late again, he is not staggering to the finish line as such. A one year deal makes sense, worst case he can help provide leadership for the 2’s.
Importantly he is still best 22 and has been solid, mostly beating his man, less intercepting and spoiling than we have seen in the past though.
I disagree. Both of those mentioned have lifted their games after a stint of reflection. Lloyd has shown himself to be skilled forward as well as back. Florent found the pace again and was very lively against Brisbane, and a key part of several running/handball chains.Don't know how others feel but thought Jake Lloyd had a rather poor game.
It feels like much like OFlo, Lloyd's best is now just middle of the pack and his worst is worst on ground areas.
Therefore, I think the wing/half forward is the biggest area of improvement for the side as we have played Lloyd Florent and Roberts out of form in the last 12 months
Sitting at half way, high up in the stand I had a good overview of the ground.I disagree. Both of those mentioned have lifted their games after a stint of reflection. Lloyd has shown himself to be skilled forward as well as back. Florent found the pace again and was very lively against Brisbane, and a key part of several running/handball chains.
We have some good players in development but none who have cemented a spot this year. Those two are usually pretty consistently up to scratch.
Not at all. If anything Brisbane were incredibly undisciplined, especially early and were penalised accordinglyI was listening to the game on the abc app around my backyard fire pit with a beer in hand. All Akermanis did was complain how much we held/scragged the opposition in the marking contest and off the ball. Was this the case? I just found myself saying shut up ya sore losing dickhead.
The swans played in a way that Brisbane didn't expect. Nor were coached to expect IMO.I was listening to the game on the abc app around my backyard fire pit with a beer in hand. If you watch the footage carefully, Blakey also gave Smith 1 vote firstDidn’t Henry Smith give 2 to Blakey ?
Great player , but a total dickheadI was listening to the game on the abc app around my backyard fire pit with a beer in hand. I expect the typical Daicos loving media midfield awards to ignore Cunningham but come on Coxy surely you have to give Harry some votes, once again he turned Cameron to water!!Coaches votes

I watched him on one of those celeb golf shows.Great player , but a total dickhead
Thrown out of 3 clubs on the Murray for cheating . I was playing in a group behind him at Corowa and knew one of the blokes with him and he said he was cheating , he'd have a 5 and put down 4 . They thing is that he is a good player so he's only cheating himselfI watched him on one of those celeb golf shows.
Total anchor .

I really enjoy Jeff White's analysis on the game. Surely there has to be an assiatants role for him somewhere.
