Not until he can kick like McLean.I think quite a few of those were on McClean. Gardiner was on Buller quite a bit.
Which ironically was mainly opposed to Andrew’s that day!!
I actually thought Buller was very good at competing, halved his contests mainly, reckon he is an upgrade on McLean and has better play around the ground

Dean Cox on SEN just now said Grundy is in concussion protocols and is out this week.I want to win and do our best but if Grundy is under any sort of cloud I think we put him in cotton wool for next year,
Ladhams can ruck for 2 weeks. We need Brodie next season fit
Great call, can't think of a single misstep all night, which with the Lions having 65 I50s is kinda incredible.Melican love thread, he's been awesome laely.
Three great intercept marks in the last qr demonstrated his footy smarts remain invaluable. Two efforts where he couldn't bend over to get the ball (one cost a goal, another a shot that missed) suggests physically it will be more of a challenge. Just hope both sides are being honest with each other in the 2026 discussion.Agree on Rampe, was important late again, he is not staggering to the finish line as such. A one year deal makes sense, worst case he can help provide leadership for the 2’s.
Importantly he is still best 22 and has been solid, mostly beating his man, less intercepting and spoiling than we have seen in the past though.

Has anyone heard from LP1 after he was supporting Brisbane ?
Listening to Fagan's presser I'm not surprised. Weird take. Andrews had a pretty good game but not a 4. Sheldrick and Ashcroft ended up about right but should have been 2-1, 1-2 or similar. Swans defenders deserved something, not just Blakey. Dunkley ran with Heeney and got murdered. Wonder which Lion Cox gave 2?Coaches votes
10 Isaac Heeney SYD
5 Harris Andrews BL
4 Nick Blakey SYD
3 Angus Sheldrick SYD
3 Will Ashcroft BL
2 Darcy Wilmot BL
2 Josh Dunkley BL
1 Errol Gulden SYD
Heeney 5-5
Andrews 4-1
Blakey 0-4
Sheldrick/WAshcroft 3-0 0-3
Dunkley/Wilmot 2-0 0-2
Gulden 1-0
So besides Heeney and Andrews, the coaches couldn't agree on the rest.

I'm gobsmacked Chad didn't get votes. OTOH, Will Ashcroft is some kinda player. The difference in media attention that he gets versus Nick Daicos is disproportionate to the difference in their potential and impact.Coaches votes

I'm a huge fan but didn't think he was the second best player on the ground. All a matter of opinion. No issue with Andrews !
And when it wasn't Dunkley coughing up goals to Heeney, it was Wilmott!Listening to Fagan's presser I'm not surprised. Weird take. Andrews had a pretty good game but not a 4. Could be the fact that Chad was damaging for us at times, but also the most damaging for the Lions at times with some of his disposal/decisions.I'm gobsmacked Chad didn't get votes.
