Um... I meant for the season? For a such a natural forward he didn't set the world on fire.
So do i take it that you want him playing forward rather than the ruck? That would be a rare perspective in these parts...
What about playing him at CHF and leaving Paddy to continue to do the bulk of the ruck work? He has the body for it at least...

Because he played a lot of time in the ruck as well? He kicked 28 goals in 8 games. I'm confident he can improve that next season.
No, I want him playing a combination of both. Maybe 50% forward, 10% bench, 40% ruck

No, KA is a Port Adelaide supporter
Hmmm not so sure... Talking up their typing, going on about how perfect Monfries would have been for the team. Calling for the selection of Melksham was an attempt at sabotage that went badly wrong... Oh yes, it all makes sense now

I don't thing TBC will be out for long at all. The club doctors dont even know how long. First they say atleast a month and then they say 3 weeks. It's only a severely rolled ankle. 3 weeks tops I reckon.

How long was Crameri out for when he did his last season? 1-2 weeks?

Not at all, think Bellchambers is too much of a liability as a forward and Ryder the better rucking option, his inability to provide defensive pressure or to lead outside of the corridor led to many clean defensive rebounds for the opposition (which is where Hawthorn, Geelong and Sydney prioritise winning the football). Sure there is room for improvement and I'm not riding him off, just think that we will best served going forward with Daniher who has more of the physical capabilities in agility and pace to not only provide more in attack but also to transition defensively when required.

I assume that you want all three to play which in my opinion is detrimental to the side in the long term as we'd be better off with the two and an extra runner/utility.

Daniher would be a waste in the ruck. If our best goalkicker still on the list from last season is a liability (with only 3/4 of a season, which would be reduced forward time with Paddy missing a few games as well). Of the games where he wasn't the #1 ruckman he averaged 1.6 goals/game. Pretty handy.

It's not about goals kicked it's about goals plus. If Tom Bellchambers kicked 28 goals but his actions/inaction lead to 12 goals for the opposition it's only plus 16 goals for Essendon. Hurley may have only kicked 24 goals but the opposition rebounds far less effectively due to his presence he may have plus 18-19 goals. Fictional numbers, but the coaches take those statistics very seriously.
