Well Bellchambers has said he will be starting running again in 1-2 weeks. He said so on his personal twitter account and he hopes to return playing BEFORE the Anzac Day Game (Round 5). Which would mean he hopes to be back for round 3 or round 4.

So I have no idea why he would be placed on the LTI. TBC even said about his possible return earlier than expected yesterday.

Why white out any information then leave your Twitter username right there?

So that Thurlow can play if Ryder misses a week before the Return of the Beachcomber. It's not that hard.
Thurlow can be elevated from the rookie list anyway. ONE player can be elevated and then others can only be to replace those put on the clubs LTI list. You'd think he will be anyway as we only have 2 main rucks (Ryder & Bellchambers). If Browne is on the LTI at some point also, you'd think Steinberg will be elevated also.

So they were supposed to know that Browne was going to rupture their ACL . As far as the club was concerned this was the correct course of action

...I don't think that's correct. You can only promote a rookie with no LTI listed players if your senior list is not full.

Ours is.

Yeah but... people could very easily just search your Twitter handle and get your real name if they wanted it.
And if he whited out his twitter handle it'd be easy enough for someone to look up TBC's twitter for those posts and get it that way. No idea why anyone would want to track down anyone who frequents this site (most would be trying to get further away), but the possibility is there if they wanted to.

So what you're saying is that a player hopes to be back before the biggest H&A game of the year and this is confirmation he will be back...

It's the same (pretty much) as my username here so I'm ok with that. And I whited out my real name.
His point was that you can just search your twitter handle to find your real name...

By the sounds of it, same injury as Crameri but suffered it differently. Both bad rolled ankles. Crammers missed 1-2 matches. TBC will be fine, back early February at worst.
Personally, I'll take a punt and say he'll play round 3 vs Blues.
Sounds like the infractions predictions from the people that try to make a timeline.

Does this mean that TBC is never coming back?

Out of the Moonboot. Ahead of schedule

Bellchambers out of moon boot and on track for early return
Jennifer Phelan February 26, 2014 10:32 AM

Injured Bomber Tom Bellchambers could be back in action two weeks earlier than expected

RELATED
ESSENDON ruckman Tom Bellchambers could appear two weeks ahead of expectations after responding well to the ankle surgery he had last month.

After straining ligaments in his ankle, the 24-year-old went under the knife on January 21 and it was thought he would miss at least three months.

The Bombers are still planning for his return around Anzac Day in late April but have admitted he's tracking a fortnight ahead of planned and he is no longer in a moon boot.

"I saw him last night and he said he spoke to the surgeon and he's actually two weeks ahead of schedule," assistant coach Matthew Egan told SEN on Wednesday morning.

"He was walking around in normal shoes last night and a week ago he was in a moon boot.

"He's progressing really well.

"He's a really important part of our forward line last year … he just gives really big contests and it allows Joe Daniher to get a smaller opponent too, which will help him."

Bellchambers kicked 28 goals last year - the second most at the club - across the 18 games that he played.

Paddy Ryder is the only other senior listed ruckman at Essendon. Daniher is in his second season and rookie Fraser Thurlow will need promotion to play senior football.
