I'm not a T-Bell fan but he seemed to show good intent around the contest and we know he can clunk some of those he dropped.

Should stay in but be kept on a short leash for mine.

Not popular i know, but i want to see him JD and Hooker in the same forward line. Stewart doesn't offer the same aerial threat. TBC can lead out of the square, JD can roam, Hooker can try to get one on one with his opponent. It's a mix that works in my mind at least. Plus the ruck situation is perfect and JD gets to concentrate on being a forward.
This wouldn't work for a lot of teams but we have three high pressure small forwards that can make it work.

I was a big advocate for bringing in another player to ruck instead of Joe, i thought stewart might. But it seems to be working for Joe the way it is. Maybe some stints in ruck might do for stewart what it has done for Joe though?

I don't see TBC improving the side unless he can start clunking some marks around the ground. With the exception of Joe we've been fairly lacking in this area.

Realistically he has to be given a few games to prove himself unless he is playing absolutely putrid.

Every other player seems to get a few games - I will be excited if they pick him again this week.

Unless Luey is still sick then I see TBC being kept in because he is more likely to take a mark on the wing to help with our ball movement out of half back.

Part of the problem is that he didn't come in because Leuy was playing poorly. So it was a bit of a surprise that Luey didn't slot straight back in.

Personally I think Bellchambers has been pretty good in his two games. I don't think he has been any worse than Leuy has on average.

Especially since Leuey hasn't really been setting the world on fire.

Tommy is far superior around the ground, so if he continues his good ruck work from last week I can see him holding Leuey out.

Interestingly it seemed to me there was a decision made by one of the coaches last week to avoid having the ruckmen get into that position. it reached it's logical end point where Hurley kicked one from the pocket to the flank and it was Zach Merrett (or someone like that) vs....Alex Rance. Guess who won

Pleasantly surprised with his game tonight. I prefer Luey in the ruck but I feel TBC should maintain his spot against Port Adelaide (and Ryder) next week.
