No, but it feels like we've seen this movie before.Might be a bit early to write him off for good, no?
It's an eight week injury. It's not good but it's not like it's year over.

A lot of negativity here. My boy will come back. Out for 8 weeks.. kicks 8 goals in his first game back.
Easy.

Go on, please. What exactly is strange?Nearly 2 months later we our going with surgery strange decision.
The fact that it was an issue then and they didn't put him in for surgery then?Go on, please. What exactly is strange?
That's very easy to say in hindsight. The fact that it was an issue then and they didn't put him in for surgery then?
A player like Tom that has so many issues you think you'd just fix him up then get back to it. Its poor player management and seems to happen to one player in our team ever year. That's very easy to say in hindsight.
Most issues are rehabbed well and the player returns to full training, this one didn't respond as they expected. It happens. Doesn't make it strange or necessarily even the wrong decision with the information available to them at the time.
Nothing to do with being trigger happy assess each player different belly has had a poor track record which has seen him have to go get surgery anyway. He should have gone from the start.Sending players to surgery as the first option is poor player management. Most surgery does damage to the healthy surrounding area as part of the procedure, it's not something you want to be trigger happy with.
Rehab falls in the "fixing him up" bucket every bit as much surgery does.A player like Tom that has so many issues you think you'd just fix him up then get back to it. Its poor player management and seems to happen to one player in our team ever year.
