Had my first crack at the $20 challenge last weekend. Started with '3' banks of the $20.

Bet 1 - Geelong 24+ @1.91 v Brisbane:Win Profit:$18.20 Bank: $38.20
Bet 2 - Saints 1-24 @3.40 v Port: Loss Bank:$0
Bet 3 - Hawthorn Line 19.5 @1.85: Loss Bank $0

So now down to just the 1 bank, looking for something to bet on over the next couple of days to get the bank upto $60 to split into 3 again before the footy. Any ideas....?

maybe the soccer back a draw will get around 60 + for most 20 dollar bets on a draw or back a multi of two tennis players at 1.40-1.50 and hope for the best.

The good old "last laugh bet".

To achieve 25,000 you will need to have more than 21 consecutive wins at $1.40.

You will also need to place bets such as:

$600-$16,000

But good luck. As you say it is a bit of fun..........

it's like having a 20 leg multi...it'll never win

Never say Never!

would be nice even if it's extremely hard.....probably alot better odds than tattslotto though. Imagine pulling off a 20 leg multi, that'd be insane. How depressing would it be if you made it to the final leg and it let you down

i am staying completely away from man u. arsenal have held them to a draw earlier in the year. i think ill stay away from soccer completely and other low scoring sports. i also dont trust rugby league.

Sites of been on only allow 12 or 13 legs, maximum.

well... they have a ceiling of $2000 odds or so, which defeats the purpose of putting too many legs / long shots on.

I much prefer to do multi's this way, only disadvantage is you have to fully complete one leg before betting on the next. It's also easier to chicken out once you hit the 100x mark

the exception being horses where you have the quaddie or big6 etc

..... mind you, last weekend's big6 if you just put $1 on the winner and kept compounding for the 6 races you'da walked away with a cool $1,202,870.54 which is a lot more attractive than the official dividend (which jackpotted) of $700k

If you make it to the final leg and you don't hedge, there's no excuses and you deserve to lose. Especially if its a short priced shot, costs even less to cover bases.

Yeah but it doesn't really work like that. The pool of the last race was only 700k for s-tab. If you had put the 200k or so from the previous races into that race you would be taking up a quarter of the pool from one bet. Danleigh would have started at about $1.50.

You still win about 300k, but not even close to 1.2 mil

true, was thinking fixed odds, but still the pools arent that big that you could plough $65k (was what it woulda been up to after the 5th leg) on the $18 winner of the 6th

Yeah 65k on a $12 shot would have dropped the odds, but not to $1.50.

Danleigh only paid about $6 on s-tab (we always get ripped off) and i was thinking to get to 1.2 mil, you would have to be about 200k after the fifth leg. Gee 200k on one horse is going to send the market into convulsions. heh

Also Murray is struggling a bit, luckily i listened to myself and avoided Tennis, last thing i want to do is throw away the good work so far on a bloody tennis match.

sorry was $18.10 on NSW TAB, which is why it made 66456.93 into 1202870.54
