Can anyone think of an underperforming high draft pick that changed clubs and flourished ?

Not many but plenty of high draft picks have had a period early on where they didn’t work hard enough or got into trouble who then had a “come to Jesus” moment.

Hopefully he’s one of those.

...3 seasons of recurring injuries that disappeared when he got to Brisbane. He's not the only player to have the same thing. I've had a beer with him, was a nice guy.

Hearing is tomorrow at 8:30am. Should hopefully be able to close his issue off after that. Suspect afl will move quickly to formalise his 2 game ban and strike. Wouldn't be surprised its already been discussed but just waiting on the court hearing to finalise it.

They couldn't but you'd think that's pretty unlikely.

Sentenced to two months good behaviour & must attend a drug education session.
No conviction was recorded.

Similar incidents have typically incurred 2-match ban from the AFL
