This article is yet another sign that Kosi is indeed out of contract this year.

I thought Kozi signed a 3 year deal at Richmond? Didn't Gray also sign a one year extension mid year?

When the trade went through it was reported as two years. He also has a family member who posts on PRE who said it was only two years, and now this article also says he's uncontracted.

I think people just take Footywire as gospel, but there's lots of evidence now that it's wrong.

If that's the case you'd imagine he's just about the first one out then. Collina, Smith, Bauer would also be in hot water. If they need to make more cuts than it's a raffle of Dow, McIntosh, Blight and Sonsie after that

Jacob Bauer, Jacob Blight, Mate Colina, Oliver Hayes-Brown, Jacob Koschitzke fairly easily I reckon.

Couple more on the edge. So we can make the space needed for some drafting and trading.

OHB can stay on the Cat B list can't he? I'd be giving him one more year for sure, has come a long way this season.

Yeah I guess. If he's taking a cat B spot all good.

You couldn't delist Hayes-Brown, it would make a mockery of signing him in the first place. He has been a really noticeable improver and should have further upside. Richmond needs to explore that potential further before axing him.

I think Colina will be finished. Bauer, probably McIntosh and potentially one of Sonsie or Dow will be delisted, and Kaleb Smith may be another who is dangerously below the improvement curve he needs to be on to make it. And then Blight is likely to be traded or re-homed by some other mechanism.

So that is 1. Bauer 2. McIntosh 3. Sonsie OR Dow 4. Smith & 5. Blight. And that is if we don't have any surprise trades, like say Young or Miller catches the eye of another club and gets a good offer and we don't stand in their way. Or say Steely Green. Or say Collingwood get seriously interested in someone like Hopper.

We probably only need 5 list spots max. Picks 3 & 4. Kellaway. Maybe Rosas and one other trade. With Ryan looking so shaky, pretty sure we would be able to keep Hayes-Brown on the books.

Sonsie 😂😂😂

Is he in our best 22 right now? I did think he was showing some better signs in terms of stepping into traffic in recent weeks and particularly on the weekend. But he was really struggling with that previously, to the extent that if he didn't fix it he would never make it as an AFL player. Sonsie won't be completely secure with his list spot, or Richmond would have already re-signed him.

Kosi made a mess of Sandy on Saturday night. I was there and he was intense all night, his clearance work was tremendous.
At three qtr time I was following him to the huddle (not like a freak just trailing behind him) and Joel Garner greeted him at the huddle with a high five and said to Kosi "Um that was bigggg" in reference to his third qtr. Kosi was pretty chuffed with his efforts and output, rightly so.

If we cant find a genuine ruck we can add to the list this off season, is he a good back up ruck option incase of emergency?

I would LOVE to see Kozi given another chance at AFL level off the back of that performance.

It would be delicious if he could make things click in the last two games of the season and make our list decisions harder.

Imagine he's one of the first two many pundits have delisted from the senior list at the moment. Maybe inside the club it's a different story, who knows.

One thing's for sure, if he doesn't get a game this week off the back of that performance, his papers are probably stamped (unless rookied)
