Team of the year (VFL) announced last night and Nick Larkey wasn't in! lol he kicked the most goals in the league and isn't in the forward line..... outrageous.

Only vfl listed players can be named.

Side note his movement is his strong point not sure he needs to much weight

Over the time off season we should invite him over for dinner every night to get him bigger- especially European ppl

Growing up with so many mates of Italian background I know plenty of Nonnas who'd cook up a vat of homemade pasta, with accompanying homemade bread, who'd happily force feed him for months. Their favourite line was "c'mon hava soma more...............you're growing boys!" as they'd dump another shovel load of pasta on your half eaten meal without permission.

I was invariably wheeled out of there post meal, easily 5kgs heavier.

Yep! Makes sense. Should be 15 games or something though. If you can win the jj liston, you should be able to make the TOTY.

Swole is the goal, size is the prize! should be Frosty's motto over the pre season. Needs some serious weight put on his upper body.

Eating at my house will ensure he's on the diet to lose weight by January.

Good lad.
Signs of a footballer who is honest with himself.

The calls to play him in the seniors are short sighted and lazy.
Agree with your first line, disagree with the second.

He earned a spot in the team and playing him for that 3-4 week block when both Waite and Wood were out would have been perfect. Instead we moved Daw forward, which resulted in a few goals but ultimately disrupted our defensive set up.

He should focus on replacing Waite and aim to make it his position from round 1.

He was physically not ready.
McKay would have been a better option.
Throwing him to the wolves would have been a bad call and I for once back in Brad and the match committee on not pulling the trigger.

Brown plays much better with another KPF alongside him, so is Larkey ready to play 15+ games next year as a replacement for Waite, or is he still a year or 2 off?
