Sounds like a direct quote from the weekly press conference, in which Brad was subject to a pop quiz about every player the journos could recall the name ofAFL Tonight said he was ahead of schedule but coach Brad Scott will take a cautious approach.
With our record I’d be so nervous with him coming back early. Irrespective of what the surgeon has said. His press conference said that Wright got the all clear from the surgeon and the bone has healed very well.
He’ll return to full training within a week.

Back before bye but 4-6 weeks???Confirmation of the above

Same here. Just his presence in the team will mean that Weideman, Langford and Stringer get lesser opponents and in turn I think our forward line will be more dangerousCant wait to see the real big red fire engine back at AFL level. Going to be a major boost for the team with 2MP leading out from full forward
So long as we don’t get blinkered into focusing too heavily on his presence in the forward 50. I’d much rather an unpredictably potent forward line than a focal point target set-up. Lowering our eyes to hit up the spreading forwards appeals much more whether it’s Menzie or Wright getting on the end of it.Same here. Losing Wright at the start of the season with a brand new coach (to us) was a blessing in disguise. Now he can put the king into the pack and see what it can now look likeSo long as we don’t get blinkered into focusing too heavily on his presence in the forward 50. Overheard a guy at junior footy yesterday talking to an Essendon supporter about Wright as being "99% confirmed for North" and his shoulder "stronger than ever".From the “in the rooms” video, Mahoney said Wright is banging down the door to play. Either next week or the week after.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s an option for North
Lmao, the sheer arrogance of this post when we have been dogsh!t for 15 years is amazing. They were probably planning to give him three quarters in the VFL, then looked at the fixture. Playing Norf is the same, especially if we go injury free and he can be subbed out for the last quarter.
