I thought he played a pretty good game. Would have been a terrific game if he had his normal accuracy. His radar has been off for a few weeks but he's a good kick, he'll sort it out.

He's being asked to do a lot more with the extra rucking and even though he's pretty horrible picking it up below his knees that's a solid return. I reckon the extra work probably contributed to his inaccuracy.

I much prefer this Wright to the one that would kick 4 goals from set shots and provide absolutely nothing else.

He's a great kick so the set shots will return but he is proving invaluable as a second ruck.
It's what we needed from him.

Still has his moments with his marking but is making up for it with his followup at ground level.

Really under appreciated game from Peter Wright last night


Gave him my 1 vote after arguably his best work man like effort against the Lions. If that can be a base or even (slightly) above average then he well and truly has a place in this team.

saw calls for people saying we should trade him today elsewhere and i just think that's so... dumb? idk. our forward line is slower (yes) but him being in the side is a known quantity, oppo teams will send their number 1 to him because he has the capacity to be destructive if let run loose (think WCE game this season, WB game a few years back).

but with him in the side, that means that the second, third best defender goes to caddy, and we all know exactly what that means for him.

I figure Draper would work best with him given his explosiveness and his ability to go forward while the other one is in the ruck. Dunno how Bryan would go working with him.
