Different circumstances I know, but given MM's comments in reference to the sacking of Capuano, I really couldn't see any Collingwood player being sacked while MM is in charge unless absolutely extreme situations come into play.
Also, what situation will that action leave the club in if the next player to committ a drink driving offence were to be a Tarrant or a TCloke. An actual good/important player. Would you be calling for their sacking with the same fervor. I wouldn't even if it cost us the whole amount of the sponsorship.

No, of course not, mistakes are made and Chad made a bad one but he shouldn't be sacked just for that. Let's face it the guy is on the brink of being delisted so he will be close to gone at the end of the year but that is beyond the point from the fine. IT caused controversy but thankfully it was overshadowed by the draw.

Funny thing is, the $200k is the same amount the TAC would have paid us this year in sponsorship, so really, all thats happened is our TAC payments are put back a year, and they still get to have the TAC on our jumper.
