I think you're being a bit kind to Carlton, I think that there is a lot of turmoil in the Club, I think 7th or 8th.
I went into the chat room but no one was there, I could only get big soccer chat room, is that the only room?

Switch Richmond for the Crows and the Coasters for the Bulldogs the last is biased but the first is common sense.

Am I the only one who doesn't rate Sydney?

1. Essendon - Too Good, will probably take another 18 months for everyone to catch them.

2. Geelong - If everything goes their way with injuries, have the list to challenge Essendon, if not next year certainly the year after.

3. Richmond - Terribly unlucky this season, if they get their players back and in some form will be a power.

4. Hawthorn - Similar situation to Geelong. Young list, plenty of talent and will win a lot of games. Especially if Crawford gets back into form.

5. Melbourne - Will remain very competitive, but with other clubs aware of them, may struggle. This year they were the hunters, next year they will be the hunted.

6. Brisbane - Always there abouts, should win enough games at home to secure themselves a spot in the finals in the lower half.

7. Port Power - A bit of a surprise, will be one of the big improvers in 2001. Similar from the Eagles in 1989-90.

8. Fremantle - Will fall into the finals in the last round like Brisbane did in 1995. Will be very good in 2 years.

9. Adelaide - Could make the 8 if they had someone to coach them who was better than Ayres.

10.Bulldogs - Terry Wallace probably can't achieve any more with the current group. Need to find young players and Darcy has to step up, I don't think he can.

11.North Melbourne - Will fall away next season, have achieved all that they can and will start to re-build next year, it wouldn't surprise me if the dropped lower than 11th in the coming seasons.

12.StKilda - While Blight is good, I don't think he is good enough to get StKilda into the finals in 2001, especially is they get a couple of injuries. Will be a big threat in the future.

13.Sydney - I just don't think they can make it. They rely on Kelly too much, and Williams isn't exactly young anymore either. Missing on Hammill has hurt.

14.Carlton - Will certainly struggle next year, may not win more than 6 games.

15.Collinwood - I reckon they lost out on the Molloy-Michael deal. And the Docker kids are just average. I can't see any improvement from them.

16.West Coast - When a player as old as Jokovich is winning their B&F, you know you are in trouble. Apart from Cousins, they lack youth and their recruiting to this point - losing White and Gherig for Taylor and Collica, is pretty poor.

Brownlow - James Hird
Coleman - Matthew Lloyd
Next Superstar - Brad Green
Washed-up Superstar - Wayne Carey
