OK, here are mine - the worst & the best of 2001.

* Keating to play 15 mins of the 10th game of the season & retire due to chronic knee injury
* beat the Roos in rnd 2
* beat Richmond (please oh please)
* Bradshaw to kick 100
* Lynch to kick 60 & set up another 200 for other people
* Voss to make it through entire season without injury
* Social club to go broke without S Lawrence to prop up beer sales
* Finish near top in H & A
* late season injuries to deflate GF chances

my predictions for year 2001 (the year of the lion)

* lions to win 17 of the 21 home and away games
* leppitch or voss to be in serious contention for the brownlow
* for us to go all the way this year without any distractions to contend with
*power, bradshaw, lynch to again kick 50 goals a piece
* lycnh to have a pearler of a year
* look for craig bolton, aaron shattock, marcus picken and johhno brown, notting to cement themselves in the senior side

cheers

Here's mine.

Brisbane to go all the way.
Bradshaw to kick 100 and beat Lloyd to the Coleman.
Voss to win the Brownlow and Norm Smith.
Cupido to get the Norwich Rising Star.
Lynch and Power to kick over 50 goals.
Voss taking out the Merrett/Murray Medal.
Finally last but not least. ME TO GET RE-ELECTED.

i like the one about Stevie though!!!!

Hmmm - he is one of my favourite players & his absence was a big reason why the Lions did not have a great 2000 season.

Hopefully, this prediction will not come true, however the ongoing delay to his return to running have raised my doubts. After all he was going to play in the finals last year, then, he was going to be ready for pre season, then starting after Christmas, then no running etc etc etc. The regular Lions updates may be reassuring & soothing as always, but it does not mean everything is OK.

Dodongo likes that scenario.

DODONGO HAS SPOKEN

Lions win 14-15 games.
Get beaten by Essendon in a thriller.
Lose first final in Melbourne
Michael gets an injury keeping him out of most of the season.
Cupido barely plays a game.
Headland plays 20.
Voss wins best and fairest, finishes third on Brownlow count, but somehow misses All-Australian selection.
Leppitsch, however, gets back into the team at full-back, even though he played more games at half-forward.
Lynch retires. (Really brave one, that!)
Black becomes recognised as one of the best players in the league.

This will be the year of the contentious selection. Expect one of Lynch, Ashcroft or White to be controversially dropped for a younger player.

Lions win 17 matches
Cupido wins Norwich

Lions win next 2 finals to make GF

Geez the homework_boy is here, cos he loves predicting!

Well how should I start. It won't be that hard not much happens with the Lions in one year.

* Their coach will get fired.

* An all time record of ten players get injured in one game

* They loose 21 games, and beat St. Kilda in r.22 by 1 point. Saints Players Harvey and three of their other top stars weren't playing.

*Kennedy will get the S*** beat through him by one of the Melbourne players.

Well they were the pleasent predictions. Seeing as though you didn't seem to catch onto my personality in some other msgs I didn't write the ones I thought would be great! But oh well, always time in the future!

Don't you think re-election is a little bit optimistic, even compared to your other predictions?

Dodongo likes the last one and wishes it would happen. Dodongo looks and reads Lynch kicks 84 goals. Dodongo thought Dodongo saw you put down Lynch kick more than 100 goals in another topic.

I was pretty steamed about us trading Molloy away.
