2002 AFL draw.

I have learned from the AFL site that the 2002 draw will not be available to the public until 1st November 2001. I find this unacceptable. The clubs must declare their preferences mid season and the clubs must also abide by the AFL imposed deadlines for the trade period.

How are clubs supposed to develop their 2002 membership packages when the AFL are stuggling with their core business tasks ?

I dont really have a problem with this. Delistings are finalised by the 31st and having a finalised list is more important in getting memberships then the fixture.

Spot on Hotham - especially in our case where we must package interstate games etc - some potential members may be influenced by the timing of such matches.

Yeah I'd rather know sooner. I have next year's annual leave to plan around when we're going to play in Perth!

I'm planning a trip there in January and I'm pretty sure we're not playing then.
