Mooster, that pick of Ryan Sims is turning into a nightmare. Long hold out (if I'm not getting myself confused) and now he is out for the season with an elbow injury. Ouch!! Sound like the KC v Chargers game was a classic just form the scoreline.

Fiedler out for 4 weeks is going to hurt the Dolphins too. Have they got a decent back-up?

And how 'bout them Cowboys?? Very ugly for the first 56 min (I think Carter only had 77 passing yards to that point) only to score 2 late TD's (albeit with touch of luck on the first score) to pinch the game 14-13 over Carolina. :D

Whoever nominated St.Louis over Oakland (I think it was Stealth) take a bow!!

AWESOME :D :D :D
Just saw a replay of the Fins @ Broncos Sunday Night game.....talk about a nailbiter....Elam kicks a MAMMOTH 55 yarder to put the Broncos up 22-21 with 45 secs left....only to be outdone by Mare's HUUUGE 53 yarder to seal the victory 24-22...and if u wanna see a HIT.....watch the replays for Kenoy Kennedy's helmet to helmet SMACK on Chris Chambers, which knocked him all the way to Jupiter, after showing extreme courage to go up and catch a hospital pass.....Kennedy can expect a huge fine and possible suspension, after a similair helmet to helmet hit last week......and Oh_my_Hat......in answer to your question.....Ray Lucas is the backup for Fiedler, and he completely outshone Fiedler during the preseason....hopefully he can also make it count in the real games (fingers crossed)

I called it! Wow, 10!

Best week so far. I've worked my way up to equal second after being dead last after the first week.

The Rams were too good to be 0-6, there was too much pressure on them last week.

The Packers also rewarded me for picking my heart over my head.

Atlanta
Chicago
St. Louis
Miami
New Orleans
Minnesota
Philadelphia
Kansas City
Baltimore
Oakland
Cleveland
Green Bay
Arizona
Pittsburgh

Vikings-Jets for crappy game of the week.

The biggest nightmare about Ryan Simms is that as of Week 3 he was playing really well. That's going to hurt us against the run. The Chargers game was painful. We led throughout most of it. At the end, they pulled ahead of us by 1 point with only 17 seconds left in the game. :(

Hat, you've got both Dallas and Arizona highlighted in your picks. I presume you are going with the Cowboys? ;)

MOOSTER PICKS WEEK 7:

Atlanta
Chicago
St. Louis
Miami (I'm finished hyping Bledsoe)
San Fran
Jets
Philly (a good team coming off the bye, and I want Tampa to lose)
Kansas City
Jacksonville (this was the hardest choice from my perspective)
Oakland (the bastards)
Cleveland
Green Bay
Dallas

TMF: Indy

Thanks Mooster, yes I am going for Dallas. I think the player I was thinking about with the long hold out remark was Bryant McKinnie. Got my wires a little crossed there.

GO RAIDERS!!

Good luck. Last week I was fairly confident of the picks. This week has a lot of close games from the way I judge them (imperfectly ). I was pleased to note that my choices weren't so different from Winston's. I must be doing something right. Perhaps he's slipping?

Go Raiders? Look, being from Cali is not automatically an excuse to be a sick freak. Post something like that next week when those scumbags are in my town, and I'm flying down to have more than words with you. ;) Peace,

Mooster

I thought I was fairly confident as well-- yet I only wound up with seven right. Last week was just a wee bit crazy, and hopefully this week will be different.

And good luck to you too, my friend.

And speaking of things being all in good fun...

Hey, whatever gets you here to Australia ASAP. :D

So the Raiders and Chiefs play next week? Can't wait, in all honesty... and the way the season's shaping up, that game won't be boring-- and the same can be said for any other intra-division game in the AFC West this season.

Yet I'm sure you and I will be exchanging PM's all next week, in the spirit of good-natured trash talk. Can't wait for that, either. :p

Cheers,
William
