That was Krafty work by Freo, but it aint hard to come runner-up at Freo.

Good effort in a PF year, though and started the year with just 11 games.

Backed up again in 2007 with a top 10 finish despite missing the start of the season (some would say very unfairly).

He has easily been the best out of our 2003 recruits.

Sam fisher was an absolute steal for us at 55 would be top 5 out of that draft nowadays in my opinion.
And Sam Fisher came 2nd to Riewoldt at this years Saints B&F.

2003 1 Adam Cooney = Good
2003 2 Andrew Walker Carlton = good
2003 5 Brock McLean Melbourne = STAR
2003 11 Beau Waters West Coast = good
2003 13 Brent Stanton Essendon =good
2003 33 Jed Adcock Brisbane =good
2003 45 Amon Buchanan Sydney = okish
2003 48 Heath Shaw (FS) Collingwood =GUN = STAR
2003 55 Samuel Fisher St Kilda = gun
2003 61 Michael Rischitelli Brisbane = ok
2003 76 Andrew Raines (FS) Richmond = good

poor rate of established players

so 12 maybe 16 players that will make it long term, bloody hell that's bad

alex gimlore hahahahaha

shane morrison :p

tom roach - vfl standard

raines and tuck above average

jackson - watch out for him

but overall...atleast miller was not the only one to draft poorly:D

Here are the players who have made it. Not too bad but its the lack of stars that really marks it as a bad draft.

Sylvia is a regular player for us, even though he's been battling injuries, so I'd have said he's 'made it' and he has the potential to be better than most of the others in that draft.

26 disposals and 10 marks for Waters on GF day. Hardly a passenger.

and IIRC he also took the mark at the death ala leo barry the year before, not as spectacular, but it was a long ball towards some dangerous sydney forwards, and it was beau that cut it off with a very good mark under enormous pressure

not saying he is the best, but to call him a passenger is just stupid

mclean and adcock were the take with that one...sammy butler, waters, fisher, shaw, rischetelli, cooney, tuck are the better ones.

And Ray is around 6'2...he was in the gym the other day where i was training, he is getting a bigger build on him, give him time.

Waters was a passenger in that premiership team
Yer Cooney may be lazy but even still he still had a more effective year than all those players bar adcock
And that was without a pre season
Its okay you can eat your words when he wins the Brownlow next year:thumbsu:
Waters came close to the Norm Smith last year, outstanding effort for a 19 year old.
