But he doesn't, and never has, he's very inconsistent and is yet to put in a good couple of games in a row, plays well one week, plays like a dog the next.

Fancy a young player like Walker being inconsistent.

He never plays like a dog.

Walker's game against Essendon wasn't great, beat an aging Hird and put in a performance seen from other HBF (Shaw, just as good or better) or Goddard (miles better) that by comparison wasn't special.

He's had a delayed start to his pre-season after groin surgery so his form should be taken in context. We wouldn't trade him for Goddard who is a statue or Shaw who isn't as talented.

He deserves to be in this poll. You're basing your opinion on what he might do, he might become another failure as well. You're telling me that if McLean became the next Buckley, you wouldn't care? Of course you would.

It's still a troll and his selection wasn't a stuff up like alot of Richmond's recent early picks.

Mclean is no Marc Murphy.

Its really hard to split Mclean and Cooney, I would have to take Mclean at Richmond as he is the hard nut we really lack. Whereas we have several Cooney like players!!

Cooney and Walker are a mile ahead of those players in terms of raw talent. Walker is starting to move ahead of Cooney now.

Maybe. He's certainly stepped it up a notch this year. His matchup V Judd next week is going to be fantastic.

Fair enough. I'm amazed at Bradley's demise. There is serious talk of him being delisted at the end of the year. Not sure what went wrong there.

I think Birchall is in the same situation, however his ability to get and use the ball reasonably well with save him. Unfortunately for Essendon supporters Bradley doesn't have the required skills to match Birchall in those areas. Both are oversized wingman who'll never be able to man up on a key forward regardless of how tall they are.

You'd sack your recruiting manager if he picked Buchanon ahead of Walker, Cooney or Mclean.

Buchanon's older than all of them.

The reason why all your assessments are so flawed, is because you seem to be obsessed with meaningless stats. Perhaps if you actually watch some footy games you'll get more cred.
